The SPC organizes, sponsors and/or endorses several pickleball tournaments throughout the year.  For 2023 these include:

SPC-run Tournaments

The SPC sponsors and runs four pickleball tournaments annually: The Spring Launch, the Youth Tournament, the Mid-Summer Slam and the Grip 'n Rip.

Spring Launch

The Spring Launch is SPC's member-only tournament to kick-off our outdoor playing season.  For 2023, the Spring Launch will be held on May 6, 2023.  Registration for the Spring Launch will be open to members only through pickleballbrackets.com in early April, 2023.

YOUTH TOURNAMENT

The Youth Tournament has age brackets for those under 18.  For 2023, this tournament will be held on July 13.  Advanced registration for the Youth Tournament will be open to members in April 2023 and to the public shortly thereafter.  Go to pickleballbrackets.com to enter.

Mid-Summer Slam

The Mid-Summer Slam is a new club-run (open to the public) tournament, first run in 2021.  It is a Pickleball Canada sanctioned tournament.  The tournament will have age brackets for those under 60 and those over 60.  For 2023, the Mid-Summer Slam will be held July 14-16, 2023.  Advanced registration for the Mid-Summer Slam will be open to members in April 2023 and to the public shortly thereafter.  Go to pickleballbrackets.com to enter.

Grip 'n Rip

The Grip 'n Rip is SPC's club-run (but open to the public) sanctioned tournament ending the club's outdoor play season.  The Grip 'n Rip is a Pickleball Canada sanctioned tournament.  The tournament will have age brackets for those under 60 and those over 60. For 2023, the Grip 'n Rip will be held on the Labour Day weekend.  Advanced registration for the Grip ‘n Rip will be open to members in July, 2023 and to the public shortly thereafter.  Go to pickleballbrackets.com to enter.
